The versatile youngster was on the scoresheet for West Ham U23s against Manchester United.
West Ham United U23s prevailed past their Manchester United counterparts with a 3-1 victory last night, with Grady Diangana, Toni Martinez and Martin Samuelson all on the scoresheet.
Diangana, who can play as a winger or an attacking midfielder, has enjoyed an impressive season for West Ham at U23 level and has now scored three goals in nine appearances.
A skillful player who is a good passer, Diangana has gained plenty of experience playing for West Ham U23s and the 19-year-old could well head out on loan next season in order to further his development.
Breaking into the West Ham first-team will certainly be a difficult task, but Diangana was previously called up for the Europa League qualifier at home to Astra Giurgiu last season and will hope to eventually work his way into David Moyes’ plans.
Diangana, who joined West Ham at the age of 12, has also featured in the EFL Trophy this season and will surely have benefited immensely from testing himself against senior opponents.
It is anticipated that Diangana will continue to develop, and thrive, for West Ham U23s in the remainder of the season, and it will be intriguing to see whether he can eventually make the breakthrough at London Stadium.
