West Bromwich Albion made six signings over the summer who have since played in the Premier League.

With the Premier League season starting to kick into full swing, HITC Sport is taking a lot at how certain clubs’ summer signings have got on and have graded them accordingly – and this time, we look at how successful West Brom’s summer business was…
Jay Rodriguez
The 28-year-old was signed from Southampton, becoming the Baggies’ first signing of the summer. He may have only scored once, but he has looked lively and, of course, was unlucky not to win a penalty against Arsenal.
Grade: B-

Ahmed Hegazi
The on-loan defender has been an excellent addition to the Baggies’ squad given that his arrival did not hurt the transfer budget at all. Apart from one mistake against Stoke, he has looked extremely solid and it would hardly be a surprise if a permanent deal appeals to Tony Pulis.
Grade: B+
Gareth Barry
Though many may have felt that Gareth Barry was past his best when he arrived from Everton, he has shown that he has plenty of miles left in him. The Premier League’s all-time leading appearance record holder looks like he could be an inspired signing.
Grade: A-

Oliver Burke
It is difficult to judge how good a signing Oliver Burke will prove to be with the winger only making a couple of substitute appearances so far. If he realises his potential, then he could be a fantastic signing for the Baggies in the future.
Grade: C+
Kieran Gibbs
Kieran Gibbs has looked very good during his first few weeks with West Brom, showing why he spent so long on Arsenal’s books. His experience of playing for a side where the expectation is generally enormously high should benefit West Brom as they look to close the significant gap to the division’s heavyweights.
Grade: B+
Grzegorz Krychowiak
Few summer deals in the Premier League captured the imagination quite like Grzegorz Krychowiak’s loan move to West Brom. The PSG midfielder is an international and the early signs suggest that he will be a sensational addition to Pulis’ squad.
Grade: A
