Glasgow Rangers brought 11 players to Ibrox over the summer, including eight permanent signings and three loan deals.

With the international break a good opportunity for club managers to take stock of how the season has gone so far, HITC Sport has taken a look at how Rangers’ summer signings have fared since their arrivals at Ibrox and have graded them accordingly…
Bruno Alves
Bruno Alves has been excellent at the heart of the defence proving that age is just a number. The Gers have lost just once when he has played, and he also scored a fantastic free-kick in a League Cup game.
Grade: B+
Ryan Jack
It has been an interesting season for Ryan Jack. He has seen red twice – the first of which was rescinded – but has formed a good partnership in the middle of the park with Graham Dorrans. And given that he arrived on a free transfer, his arrival looks like it will prove to be an excellent piece of business for the Gers.
Grade: B-

Fabio Cardoso
Fabio Cardoso has formed a solid understanding alongside Alves, and playing with the veteran should surely only make him a better player.
Grade: C
Daniel Candeias
Daniel Candeias is arguably the best winger in the Rangers squad, already contributing three assists in the Scottish Premiership. In the games when the Gers are expected to be on the front foot, he can really thrive.
Grade: B+

Alfredo Morelos
Six goals in eight league games suggests that Rangers have landed a gem by signing Alfredo Morelos. The manner of the goals suggests that he is not one-dimensional either.
Grade: A
Eduardo Herrera
It has been a more difficult spell for Eduardo Herrera who has scored one league goal. He bagged a brilliant goal in a recent cup win and may perhaps benefit if Kenny Miller’s exile from the first-team does not end anytime soon.
Grade: C+
Carlos Pena
Carlos Pena has made a slightly odd start to life with Rangers. His form has not captured the imagination so far and he was lucky not to be sent off against Hamilton on Friday. Pedro Caixinha knows how to bring the best out of him though.
Grade: C+
Graham Dorrans
Graham Dorrans has scored four goals already and has arguably done fairly well. His leadership could be key and it would not be a surprise if he wins any critics over before long.
Grade: B+
Declan John
Declan John has given Caixinha a selection headache for when Lee Wallace returns from injury with some bright performances and a brace against Hamilton.
Grade: B+
Aaron Nemane
It is too soon to judge loanee Aaron Nemane as he has only made a couple of extremely brief substitute appearances so far.
Grade: C
Dalcio
Life at Rangers has not gone to plan for loanee Dalcio. He has played once since the infamous defeat to Progres in the Europa League, and you would do well to find a Gers fan currently keen to see that loan made permanent.
Grade: D-
