Andrew Robertson
The Scotland left-back can count himself hard done by to have had so few opportunities at Anfield, having given a good account of himself in all three of his first-team starts.
Despite having not featured since September’s Carabao Cup defeat to Leicester City, Robertson’s signing has been worthwhile as it has pushed Alberto Moreno to become a better player.
The Spaniard has been Liverpool’s most consistent defender this season and Robertson’s arrival, which put his Reds future under threat, has been the catalyst for this improvement.
Grade: C+
Dominic Solanke
Solanke’s Liverpool career won’t be judged for a few years yet, but he has been used frequently enough by Jurgen Klopp that we have seen glimpses of the player he could be.
The 20-year-old striker left Chelsea for Liverpool for a clearer pathway into the first team and has already made seven Premier League cameos off the bench, a joint-high at Anfield.
A maiden Reds goal would do Solanke’s confidence the world of good – he came so close when hitting the crossbar against Burnley. If he continues to put himself about as he has done, it will come soon.
