Some West Ham fans on social media have been reacting to The Sun’s report that Craig Dawson could be available to be signed permanently for as little as £3m.
The defender has been one of the Hammers’ standout performers in recent months, forming a solid partnership with Angelo Ogbonna that has propelled the London club up the league table.
Amid rumours of Said Benrahma’s loan deal being made permanent, there was understandably some interest in Dawson’s status at the club, and The Sun seem to have gathered information that he will be available for a very modest fee.
As you can imagine, it didn’t take long for West Ham supporters to come out in their droves on social media to discuss this news.
Predictably, fans were clamouring for this signing to be made permanent, and we can understand why.
Dawson is a contender for signing of the season at the London club, and keeping him on beyond this campaign would make a lot of sense after his strong start to life at the London Stadium.
