Gordon Strachan has singled out Fulham boss and West Ham United managerial target Slavisa Jokanovic for praise.

West Ham were linked with the Fulham manager during the summer when speculation was rife the East Londoners were ready to replace Slaven Bilic, as reported at the time by Sky Sports.
Bilic was kept on, though, only to be sacked in November after the club’s worst ever start to a Premier League season.
Experience was the order of the day for co-owners David Sullivan and David Gold then as David Moyes was appointed on a six-month contract.
The Hammers have turned a corner under the Scot and look set to secure their Premier League status.
That has led to talk that Moyes could be set to earn an extended deal at the club just a couple of weeks after widespread reports the owners would be looking elsewhere regardless in the summer, as reported by The Telegraph.

Should the owners consider changing their mind and revisiting their interest in Jokanovic, though, after he received high praise from veteran manager Gordon Strachan?
“There’s some good coaches in that league (the Championship) you know,” Strachan told The Debate.
“The guy at Fulham, Jokanovic is probably one of (the best).

“They put in a performance (when I last watched them) which was magnificent. Everything about them, there was a freedom to their play, but you could see a discipline when the ball changed hands and I thought his coaching was fantastic.”
High praise indeed, whether it would be enough to make Sullivan and Gold change their thinking, if indeed they have decided to keep Moyes on, is another thing.
Of course Jokanovic may yet lead Fulham back to the Premier League this season and may want to continue the fine job he is doing at Craven Cottage.
