Steven Gerrard’s Rangers will face Celtic away from home at Celtic Park in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday afternoon.
For the first time in a while, there is a very good chance that Rangers could pick up all three points against the Hoops in a derby match.
Former Celtic manager Strachan has revealed what he has told Rangers assistant manager McAllister about the Old Firm derby on Sunday.
Strachan told The Daily Record: “This will be a unique situation for Steven and Gary. I have spoken to Gary a lot recently, he’s enjoying it.
“I told him to forget what he thinks Sunday will be like as it will be completely different.
“Whatever way you think the game is going to pan out, forget it. It always pans out differently. The thrill is the tale of the unexpected.”
Winning against Celtic
Celtic have a better team than Rangers, but the Gers are in good form at the moment and are full of confidence.
While it is not going to be easy at Celtic Park, if Rangers are able to keep the score level after 15 minutes, then they will have a chance.
It would not be a bad chance for the Gers if they are able to pick up a point from the Old Firm derby at Celtic Park.
