Jeremie Frimpong played well for Neil Lennon’s Celtic at the weekend.

Frimpong was in action for Celtic in their Scottish Premiership game against Aberdeen away from home on Sunday afternoon.
The 18-year-old right-back scored in the 15th minute and had a very good game overall, and former Celtic manager Strachan was impressed with the Netherlands Under-19 international.
Strachan said about Frimpong on BT Sport (2:05pm, October 27, 2019): “Fantastic. Absolutely fantastic. The message we have coming out of Celtic Park that he is a top kid. Desperate to learn, desperate to be a good player, desperate to be a great teammate. And I think that’s the way the guys have embraced him.
“They know he’s brought something to the club: enthusiasm, pace, ability to hold onto the ball when he needs to hold on. Doesn’t dismiss it. He’ll beat you when he needs to beat you. Apart from wanting him to be six inches taller, what a player. He’s brought a new dimension to Celtic.”

One for the future
Frimpong is a very talented and promising young right-back who can be a star for Celtic in the future.
The right-back has scored one goal in two Scottish Premiership matches and has played one Scottish League Cup tie for the Hoops so far this season, according to WhoScored.
Signed in the summer of 2019, the 18-year-old can be a star for the Hoops in the coming years, and perhaps he will get more playing time this season.
Celtic are aiming to win the Scottish Premiership title this season, as well as progress to the knockout round of the Europa League.
