Celtic midfielder Stuart Armstrong has been in wonderful form for Brendan Rodgers’ Glasgow side so far this season.

Scotland boss Gordon Strachan has told the Glasgow Evening Times that Celtic midfielder Stuart Armstrong has shocked him over the international break.
Armstrong made his debut for Scotland on Monday evening, in Strachan’s side’s crucial victory over Slovenia.
The Celtic man’s performance was highly impressive, as he carried his excellent club form on to the international stage.
Armstrong set up Celtic’s winner, with a wonderful through ball into Chris Martin.
And Strachan admits that he has been surprised at just how strong Armstrong’s running is.
“I always knew his running power was good, but I didn’t know how strong he had become with his running power,” he said. “It is okay to run, but to be strong and run at the same time is difficult and that’s what he’s got.
“That changed when he moved position about September time really. It has changed his career. It has definitely helped Celtic and it has helped us. So players make a big difference.”
Armstrong has enjoyed a wonderful run of form at Celtic in recent months, and has developed into a key player for Brendan Rodgers’ men.
The 24-year-old has scored 11 goals and claimed seven assists in 23 Scottish Premiership matches this campaign for the Bhoys.
Armstrong’s form at Celtic has not gone unnoticed, with the Glasgow side likely to face a fight to keep hold of the midfielder in the summer transfer window.
