Glasgow Rangers manager Steven Gerrard reportedly wants Liverpool striker Dominic Solanke on loan at Ibrox.

Rangers are interested in signing Solanke from Liverpool in the summer transfer window, according to a report in The Scottish Sun in July.
The Mirror (Transfer Live blog, 05:31, Thursday, August 9, 2018) reported that Rangers manager Gerrard is confident of securing the services of the 20-year-old on loan this summer (click here to read more).
Former Rangers star Smith has suggested that the England international – who earns £25,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com – would be a good signing for the Gers.
Smith wrote in The Sunday Post: “The links with Liverpool’s Dominic Solanke have resurfaced again, and have been persistent enough through the summer to give fans reason to believe it will happen. If Rangers get him, they should be pretty well set for the season ahead.”

Good signing for Rangers?
Solanke is not going to get much playing time at Liverpool this season, and it would make sense for the former Chelsea prospect to join Rangers on loan in the summer transfer window.
Alfredo Morelos and Umar Sadiq are talented and promising young strikers, but Gerrard could do with another player in that position.
Solanke is only 20 years of age, but there is no doubt that the Englishman has a lot of potential, and he would be an asset at Rangers.
