Former Rangers star Gordon Smith has advice for Brendan Rodgers’ Celtic regarding the futures of Leigh Griffiths and Moussa Dembele.

Smith, who was on the books of Ibrox club Rangers from 1977 until 1980, has also suggested that Celtic should look to sell Moussa Dembele and get some good money from his transfer.
The former Manchester City star has also suggested that the Hoops should hand Griffiths a new contract.
The 27-year-old Scotland international striker recently told The Daily Mail that he wants to stay at Celtic and does not want to leave.

Smith wrote in The Sunday Post: “Long-term, Griffiths looks the answer. Dembele is very strong and a great finisher, but his form is in and out.
“He’s also exactly the type of development project Celtic have to be looking to make their money on before his stock potentially falls even further. And while is Odsonne is promising, PSG may well have other plans for him.
“Griffiths is Scottish and his talk of staying a Celt for life shows his commitment to the club. They should make it happen.”

Leigh Griffiths contract
Griffiths has had injury concerns this season, but there is no doubt that the Scotland international is one of the best strikers in the Scottish Premiership.
It would make perfect sense for Celtic to hand the 27-year-old a new contract at the end of the season.
The former Dundee striker has been on the books of the Glasgow giants since January 2014 when he joined from Wolverhampton Wanderers in England for a transfer fee reported by The Daily Mail to be worth £1 million.
Moussa Dembele future
Dembele is not having a great season, but the Frenchman remains one of the best young strikers in Europe.
If Celtic do get a good offer for the 21-year-old in the summer transfer window, then they should accept it and invest the money in other areas of the squad, such as their defence.
