Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos and Celtic’s Callum McGregor are among the PFA Player of the Year nominees.

Alfredo Morelos is one of the best players in the Scottish Premiership, and there is no surprise that the Rangers striker is among the nominees for the PFA Player of the Year award in Scotland.
The Colombia international striker has been suspended for more Rangers matches than he would have liked, but the 22-year-old has delivered the goods for Steven Gerrard’s side when he has been on the pitch.
According to BBC Sport, Morelos has scored 17 goals and provided four assists in the Scottish Premiership for Rangers this season.
Callum McGregor has also been in great form for Celtic this season, with the Scotland international a consistent figure in the Hoops’ midfield.

According to WhoScored, the 25-year-old central midfielder has made 32 starts and one substitute appearance in the Scottish Premiership for Celtic this season, scoring three goals in the process.
The Scotland international has also been nominated for the PFA Player of the Year award, and former Rangers star Gordon Smith believes that he should win it ahead of Morelos.
Smith said on PLZ Soccer: “The competition for me is between McGregor and Morelos, and I think that over consistency over the year, it has been McGregor who has been more consistent.”
