Scotland are set to get their 2026 World Cup campaign underway during the early hours of Sunday morning.
They have been drawn in Group C along with Brazil, Morocco and Haiti, which is arguably one of the toughest groups at the tournament.
Brazil and Morocco will face off late on Saturday, before the Scots clash with Haiti at 2am BST on June 14.
Now, celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay has provided an insight into what the Scotland camp has been like in the lead-up to their World Cup kicking off.

Gordon Ramsay revealed ‘nerves’ and ‘electrifying’ atmosphere in Scotland World Cup camp
Speaking via The Sun Sport, the chef, who visited their camp in North America recently, suggested there are nerves among the players, but the atmosphere was what he described as ‘electrifying’.
Ramsay revealed: “The nerves were there. That’s obvious, right? As soon as they get that first game out the way, I think they’re going to be a lot more settled. But honestly, the atmosphere in that dressing room was electrifying. They are bonded.
“All the families arrive today as well, and so that’s going to make them feel a lot happier after the game tomorrow night.
“They’re not so worried about the humidity. I think those breaks every 22, 23 minutes are an absolute lifeline. I was even looking at some of the breakdown of the heart rate monitors in terms of what they’ve been doing and the spikes and just how fit they are.”
Nerves within the camp are not surprising, given this is Scotland’s first appearance at a World Cup since 1998.
Scotland’s record at the World Cup
Scotland first appeared at a World Cup in 1954, where they failed to make it out of the group stage.
They have since competed in a further seven tournaments in the build-up to 2026, but have never made it to the knockout rounds.
Scotland eventually won their first World Cup game at the 1974 tournament, but have never picked up more than one victory during a single competition.
