Celtic goalkeeper Craig Gordon speaks highly of Scott Bain, who joined the Hoops on loan from Dundee in the January transfer window.

Celtic goalkeeper Craig Gordon has praised his teammate Scott Bain to The Scottish Sun.
Gordon has been impressed with the performances of Bain, who joined Celtic on loan from Scottish Premiership rivals Dundee in the January transfer window.
The 35-year-old former Heart of Midlothian and Sunderland man, who earns £8000 per week as salary according to The Daily Star, has also admitted that it will be a challenge for him if the 26-year-old goalkeeper signs a long-term contract with the Hoops.

The Scotland international told The Scottish Sun: “Scott’s done very well in the games he’s played. I’ve always admired Scott in games I’ve played against him. He’s a talented goalkeeper.
“If he signs longer term then it will be a challenge, but on Sunday it was nice to get out and play well and give myself a chance of featuring for the rest of the season.”

Place in danger?
Gordon is the first-choice goalkeeper at Celtic, and him playing against Rangers in the Old Firm derby at Hampden Park last weekend proved that.
However, Bain has impressed Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers, with the 26-year-old recently telling The Scottish Sun that the former Liverpool and Swansea City boss wants him to remain at Celtic Park beyond the summer (click here to read more).
If Bain signs a new contract, then Gordon’s place in the Celtic starting lineup will come under threat.
The 35-year-old may be relishing the challenge from Bain at the moment, but his place in the team could come under threat next season.
