Rangers have brought Matt Polster to Ibrox permanently.

Dundee United assistant boss Gordon Forrest has told The Scottish Sun that new Rangers signing Matt Polster is a ‘good player’ with a ‘terrific attitude’.
Rangers were busy in the January transfer window, and whilst Andy Firth was their strangest signing, Polster is another relative unknown.
The 25-year-old has been featuring for Major League Soccer side Chicago Fire, making almost 100 appearances for the club, though he missed much of 2018 through injury.
With his contract coming to an end, Rangers took him on trial in December and then allowed him to continue training with Steven Gerrard’s side on their training camp in Spain last month.
Before last Thursday’s transfer deadline, Rangers confirmed that Polster has signed a permanent deal with the club, penning a two-and-a-half year deal at Ibrox.
A one-cap United States international, Polster will boost Gerrard’s options at right back and in central midfield, and he has now been praised by a Scottish Championship coach.

Dundee United assistant Forrest worked as Carl Robinson’s right-hand man at Vancouver Whitecaps, before returning to Scotland to work with Robbie Neilson at Tannadice.
Forrest has now suggested that Polster is a ‘good player’, praising his versatility whilst suggesting his terrific attitude is why Gerrard wants him around, adding that it’s great to see him earn a chance to shine in Scottish football.
“Matt is a good player and I remember him coming through the college system,” said Forrest. “He is very versatile in that he can play in midfield or at full-back. It is great to see him coming to Scotland and being given a chance. Matt has a terrific attitude and I’m sure that’s why Steven Gerrard would want him in his side,” he added.
