'Good riddance', 'Don't understand this': Liverpool fans react to Lazar Marković exit rumours

The Liverpool winger is closing in on another loan exit from the club, according to reports.

Liverpool flop Lazar Marković is closing in on another loan exit from Anfield, according to Greek media outlet Spor Time, with PAOK on the verge of wrapping up a deal to sign the winger, and some Reds fans took to Twitter to deliver their verdict on the news.

The 24-year-old joined the Reds from Benfica in the summer of 2014, for somewhere in the region of £20 million, but he has been nothing short of a total flop at Anfield, making just 11 Premier League starts for the club.

Markovic hasn’t played for Liverpool since 2015, and has spent four separate loan spells away from Anfield.

The Serbian didn’t set the world alight during any of those spells, and now it seems as thought he is on the verge of being shipped out on loan once again.

All the best to him. Shame it didn’t work out. I was pleased when we signed him having watched him a lot at Benfica, but he wasn’t given much of a chance and when he was, he wasn’t up to it. Not his fault really. He has been rubbish everywhere he’s been since though.
