Gabby Agbonlahor has stated on Instagram that it is ‘good riddance’ to Jesus Garcia Pitarch following his departure from Aston Villa.
The now-departed Villa Sporting Director, also known as Suso, left the club upon the expiry of his contract and the club surviving relegation.
When Villa posted the news on Instagram, Agbonlahor made his feelings clear about the Spaniard, but Frederic Guilbert thanked him for giving him the ‘opportunity to play in the Premier League’.
Agbonlahor also stated ‘the lack of Villa players liking the post speaks a thousand words’, as, at the time of writing, only Anwar El Ghazi liked the Instagram post about Suso leaving from the current crop of Villa players.

He then commented further: “Oh, I was thinking out loud don’t mean to type it – the lack of Villa players liking the post speaks a thousand words.”
But Guilbert was more thankful to Suso: “Thank you for giving me the opportunity to play in the Premier League.”
Suso’s departure isn’t a surprise to Villa fans given how they narrowly avoided the drop on the final day of the Premier League season.
Villa spent big last summer, and in truth, many of the signings haven’t delivered during large periods of the campaign.
The issue wasn’t the money that Villa spent, they needed to do that. It’s who they spent it on and the lack of Premier League experience that didn’t come through the door, nor the players that Dean Smith seemingly wanted.
