Some Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to The Times’ report that the club are ready to step up their interest in making Martin Odegaard’s loan deal permanent.

According to The Times, Arsenal want to sign Odegaard on a permanent basis from Real Madrid in the summer of 2021.

The 22-year-old Norway international attacking midfielder joined the Gunners on loan from Madrid in the January transfer window.

The defending Spanish champions are open to selling the youngster, and Arsenal are ready to step up their interest in the permanent signing of Odegaard, according to the report.

According to WhoScored, Odegaard – who earns £38,000 per week as salary, according to The Times – has scored one goal in eight Premier League games and has scored one goal in four Europa League matches for the Gunners.
