Tottenham midfielder hopes to be fully fit soon.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Harry Winks has offered an encouraging fitness update on Instagram.
Winks posted a picture of himself training, with a message saying simply ‘back soon’.
Winks missed the World Cup with England and his misery was compounded when he was forced to sit out Tottenham’s pre-season tour of America to focus on his recovery from ankle surgery.
Winks will hope to be available for the start of the season next week when Tottenham face Newcastle, but Mauricio Pochettino will be unlikely to rush him.
The midfielder will have to be managed carefully and he could be behind his teammates in terms of fitness after missing all the pre-season fixtures so far.

Winks showed his class for Spurs last season in back to back Champions League matches against Real Madrid.
A recurrence of an ankle injury at the end of 2017 set him back and when he returned this year he looked off the pace.
Tottenham need Winks back at 100 per cent this season, and all associated with the club will hope he is finally free of his ankle problems.
