Tottenham Hotspur head coach Antonio Conte has said that he is pleased to see Son Heung-min back in action for Spurs, as quoted in Football.London.
Son was in action for Tottenham in the FA Cup fourth-round tie against Premier League rivals Brighton and Hove Albion at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday evening.
The South Korea international forward started the match and played for 69 minutes.
Tottenham won 3-1.
Son, who cost Tottenham £22 million (The Guardian), won the ball back for Harry Kane’s opening goal, showed plenty of energy, could have scored himself, and was involved in the England international striker’s second goal as well.

Conte told Football.London: “It was good news for us. Sonny is an important player for us. He’s decisive. He knows that very well.
“Today I wanted to give him 65-70 minutes because when you come back after injury, I prefer in a week when we have three games, to manage very well Son and also Romero.
“Because after serious injury, to have them back was good news but also we have to try to manage them very well and not take risk because they’re important players for us.”
Exciting for Spurs fans
In our opinion, Son being back for Tottenham and doing well against Brighton in the FA Cup is very exciting and encouraging for Spurs.
We know that the 29-year-old is a superb footballer and is a key figure at Spurs.
So, in our view, Conte having Son back from injury is going to enhance Tottenham’s chances of finishing in the Premier League top four this season.
Son has scored eight goals and provided three assists in 17 Premier League matches for Spurs so far this season.
