Graham Roberts has expressed his delight on Twitter at Tottenham Hotspur ‘rejecting’ Bayern Munich’s latest transfer bid for Harry Kane.

The Tottenham legend told the German club to ‘go away’ as he, and many other fans, will be very keen to keep hold of their star striker this summer.

As of this moment, as these bids go in, Harry Kane hasn’t come out to publicly shut it down, which probably suggests that he is open to listening to what Bayern Munich have to say.

But that doesn’t mean he will leave for Bayern because, as David Ornstein reported on Twitter, another bid has been ‘knocked back’.

As of this moment, Kane has stayed at home rather than travel for their pre-season game at Barcelona on Tuesday evening, with manager Ange Postecoglou keeping his key players refreshed.

That’s because their opening Premier League game against Brentford is around the corner, as Roberts issued a pretty blunt response to those Kane rumours.

“Good,” wrote Roberts in response to Ornstein’s tweet. “Go away, Bayern.”

Kane could hit 30+ again…

Last season, Erling Haaland hit the headlines after helping Manchester City win a historic Treble in his debut campaign in England.

That overshadowed the 30 goals Kane hit for a Spurs side that just fell off the rails towards the back end of the season and never finished in a European place.

But with a more attack-minded manager now in the dugout, added with James Maddison, you would imagine that he could hit 30+ again, if he stays at Spurs.
