Tottenham Hotspur have been linked to Geoffrey Kondogbia.
Tottenham Hotspur have been scouting Valencia loanee Geoffrey Kondogbia, report SkySports.
Kondogbia is on loan at Valencia from Inter Milan, and Spurs are long term admirers of the Frenchman.
Tottenham’s interest has reportedly been awoken by their desire to replace midfielder Mousa Dembele, who has struggled with injury this season.
Kondogbia began his career with Lens before switching to Sevilla, who then sold him to Monaco in 2013.
After two seasons at Monaco he switched to Inter Milan, but a disappointing 2016/17 saw him made available for loan.
Dembele has been a fan favourite since signing in 2012 and replacing him will not be easy.
Tottenham are not actively looking to move Dembele on, but just find a successor who can ease their reliance on the Belgian.
Kondogbia is six years younger than Dembele and is back on form, having helped Valencia to second in La Liga, playing 12 of 14 matches.
