Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal have been linked with Ruben Neves, and it seems that Tottenham Hotspur head coach Antonio Conte is a big fan of the Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder.
Arsenal linked with Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Ruben Neves
The Sun reported last week that Arsenal and Manchester United are interested in signing Neves from Premier League rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers in the summer transfer window.
However, neither the Gunners nor the Red Devils are willing to pay the £80 million transfer fee that Wolves want for him, according to the report.
Neves is one of the best midfielders in the Premier League, and given that he is only 25 years of age, we can safely say that his best years are ahead of him.

Tottenham head coach Conte has an eye for talent, and his praise of the Portugal international midfielder ahead of the Premier League game against Wolves underlines the quality of player that Arsenal would get if they do sign him this summer.
Spurs will take on Wolves at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
Tottenham boss Antonio Conte on Neves
Conte told Football.London: “First of all, we are talking about a really good team and a good club, a club that in the last week has signed two important players like Guedes from Valencia and then Nunes from Sporting Lisbon.
“It means that they have a lot of ambition, I have a great respect for Wolverhampton and their players, Ruben Neves and many, many good players with a good coach, I give great respect to them because they are doing very well and for sure the game will be difficult for us.”
Good signing for Arsenal?
Now, of course, £80 million is a lot of money, but if Arsenal are genuinely keen on the Wolves star, then they should pay it.
Conte did not have to name any Wolves player, but that he name-checked Neves without being promoted to underlines just how highly he rates the 25-year-old.
If Conte likes a player, then we can safely say that he is very good.
And Arsenal would be a better team with Neves in their midfield.
