Some Arsenal fans on social media have been reacting to the news that Roberto Firmino is back in contention to face off against them on Saturday.
The Gunners face Liverpool this weekend, and they will have hoped that the Reds’ ongoing injury issues will have worked in their favour, and while the likes of Joe Gomez and Virgil van Dijk will miss this clash, Firmino is back.
The Brazilian has a stellar record against Arsenal over the years, so as you can imagine, Gunners fans weren’t best pleased to see their tormentor returning to fitness.
Whether or not Firmino starts at the weekend remains to be seen. After all, Diogo Jota has been doing a fine job in his absence, but even as an option off the bench, Firmino is a danger.
Gunners fans were quick to express their concerns on social media, with one fan claiming that he’s bound to score, while another predicted a hat-trick from the Brazilian.
