Exit makes sense
In our view, Neco Williams’s departure from Liverpool makes sense.
Trent Alexander-Arnold is the number one right-back at Liverpool, and that is not going to change anytime soon.
Williams is a regular for Wales and will play for his country at the 2022 World Cup finals in Qatar.
The 21-year-old needs to play regularly at club level to be in top shape for Qatar and also to develop himself.
We think that Williams is doing the right thing by leaving Liverpool and look after his own career.
Forest are a big club who could establish themselves in the Premier League in the coming years.
