Dennis Cirkin has given his reaction to Alex Pritchard leaving Sunderland in the January transfer window.
Sunderland winger Jack Clarke has also sent a message to Pritchard on Instagram.
So, what have Dennis Cirkin and Jack Clarke messaged Alex Pritchard following his move from Sunderland to Birmingham City? Let’s take a look.
Alex Pritchard leaves Sunderland
Well, Alex Pritchard has left Sunderland for good. The former Tottenham Hotspur attacking midfielder has joined Championship rivals Birmingham City. The Black Cats have received less than £500,000 in transfer fees, as we reported on HITC.
Pritchard, who came through the Tottenham youth system and played for the first team before moving to Norwich City in 2016, joined Sunderland in the summer of 2021.

The attacking midfielder was very successful during his time at the Stadium of Light. He scored nine goals in 115 matches for the Black Cats and helped them win promotion from League One in 2022.
One of the reasons why Sunderland reached the Championship playoffs last season was because of Pritchard. The 30-year-old scored four goals and gave seven assists in 30 Championship starts.
Pritchard’s contract with Sunderland was due to run out at the end of the season. He has put pen to paper on a two-and-a-half-year deal and will be reunited with his former Black Cats manager Tony Mowbray.
Dennis Cirkin and Jack Clarke react
As you can see below, Dennis Cirkin and Jack Clarke have reacted to Alex Pritchard leaving Sunderland on the final day of the January transfer window.
Cirkin, a 21-year-old left-back, is another player who has been on the books of Spurs in the past and is disappointed to see Pritchard leave.
Winger Jack Clarke has also praised Pritchard. Interestingly, Clarke is also a former Tottenham player and was linked with Lazo in January.
Sunderland are seventh in the Championship table at the moment with 43 points from 29 matches, while Birmingham City currently find themselves just seven points above the relegation zone.
