Some Tottenham Hotspur fans on Twitter are drooling over some brief footage of young player Oliver Skipp.

The 19-year-old is one of the most exciting teenagers in Spurs’ academy right now.

Skipp already has a decent bit of Premier League experience for somebody his age – 15 appearances, to be specific – and Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho labelled him ‘phenomenal‘ last season.

The youngster will spend next season in the Championship with Norwich City.

Skipp made his third appearance for the Canaries in a friendly away to German outfit Darmstadt this afternoon.

And here’s how fans of the North London club reacted to some footage of Skipp during that performance.

The writing was on the wall for Skipp when Mourinho signed Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.

Even with Eric Dier playing more as a centre-back these days, signing of the Dane indicated that the Portuguese coach wasn’t going to promote Skipp into the first XI.

But a solid loan spell in the second tier and maybe, just maybe, this time next year he could be making a beeline into regular first-team football with the Lilywhites.
