Tottenham Hotspur fans feel that Harry Winks is finished at the club, after Jose Mourinho left him out of the squad to face Aston Villa.

Winks came into Tottenham’s starting line-up against Dinamo Zagreb, but badly struggled as the North London side crashed out of the Europa League.

Winks had already struggled to break into Tottenham’s team this season and it appears that Mourinho’s patience with the central midfielder may now have officially run out.

The Portuguese boss made a statement on Monday by leaving Winks out of the squad.

Alfie Devine, who is just 16, was named on the bench ahead of him.

And Tottenham fans now feel that they have seen a sign that Winks’ time at the club is coming to an end.

Winks’ only hope of staying at Tottenham may actually be to outlast Mourinho.

The Daily Mail have suggested that Spurs will sack Mourinho if they don’t make the top four.

However, their win against Villa has increased hope that Spurs could yet make it into the Champions League qualification spots.
