Forget Julian Draxler, Tottenham should look at Goncalo Guedes.
Tottenham fans last week suggested Paris Saint-Germain attacker Julian Draxler as a potential target, but another player from the French giants could be a smart option.
L’Equipe report that winger Goncalo Guedes could be available for loan, with Spanish side Valencia showing early interest – with ESPN reporting they are closing on a deal. Tottenham would be clever to try and muscle in on a move.
PSG paid £27 million to sign the talented winger from Benfica in January, where he had earned ‘next Ronaldo’ comparisons.

Guedes could be or could have been an ideal option for Tottenham as they look for reinforcements in attack due to Erik Lamela’s long term injury.
The 20-year-old is already a Portugal international and is a player who loves to take on opponents and stretch defences, a quality Tottenham lacked at Wembley yesterday against Chelsea.

He has so far made only 13 appearances for PSG, underlining the need for him to move on loan to get playing time under his belt.
In 68 games for Benfica, Guedes scored 11 goals from the wing and provided 16 assists, making an impact in just under half of his appearances.
If they could beat Valencia to a loan move, Tottenham would put themselves in pole position to sign the talent on a permanent basis in the future, while any risk in signing him would be alleviated because it would just be a loan.
Spurs have let too many talented wingers slip through their grasp this summer, with Cengiz Under, Bruma, Douglas Costa and Wilfried Zaha all signing elsewhere or penning extensions. Making a move for Guedes could redress that.
