Everton have yet to see signings Andre Gomes and Yerry Mina in action.

Everton’s 3-1 home defeat to West Ham United on Sunday afternoon has given Marco Silva his first loss as Toffees manager, and leaves him to consider his side’s problems.
Silva had gone four unbeaten to start his reign, but another way to look at his record is to say that he has won just once in his opening five, with some already questioning the former Watford boss.
Judging off the start of the season – and the defeat to West Ham – Silva has a number of problems, particularly through the spine of his team, where Everton were woeful on Sunday.
Centre backs Kurt Zouma and Mason Holgate couldn’t handle Marko Arnautovic, whilst midfielder Idrissa Gueye, Morgan Schneiderlin and Gylfi Sigurdsson were outfoxed by Hammers trio Declan Rice, Mark Noble and Pedro Obiang.
Those issues mean that there will huge pressure placed on two new signings, having landed centre back Yerry Mina and midfielder Andre Gomes from Barcelona on deadline day last month.
The pair arrive with injuries and have yet to even make their debuts for the club, meaning the longer Everton’s problem go on in their positions, the greater the expectations will be when they’re fit.

Both arrive with strong reputations having played for Barca, and giant centre back Mina will be vital for aiding Everton’s defensive woes, whilst fans will hope Gomes can finally be the player to bring some control to the midfield.
The two signings, made by Marcel Brands, will have major expectations and pressure on them to succeed once they do play, and Silva will be desperate for them to live up that after Sunday’s showing.
