Sergio Garcia did not come off well at all during the 90th edition of The Masters this week.
Garcia, the 2017 Masters champion, is well known for his fiery personality on the golf course.
However, the 46-year-old Spaniard took things too far on Sunday when he damaged the second tee-box and broke his driver by smashing it into a water cooler.
Garcia was reprimanded by Masters officials immediately after the incident, and received a code of conduct warning.
It was sad to see Garcia – an incredibly experienced player – acting like such a spoiled child on one of golf’s grandest stages.

There have actually been calls for Garcia to be banned from Augusta National after his atrocious behavior on Sunday at The Masters.
One thing’s for sure, his post-round interview didn’t do him any favors whatsoever.
Sergio Garcia’s post-round Masters interview
The Spaniard spoke to reporters and arrogantly batted away questions while drinking a bottle of water.
For context, here is his press conference in full:
Q. Obviously you were frustrated early in your round. Had that been building through the week? What happened?
SERGIO GARCIA: “Through the year. Yeah. Just obviously not super proud of it, but sometimes it happens.“
Q. Take us through what happened later on that hole when you were carrying Jon’s bag.
SERGIO GARCIA: “There was nothing. Adam stopped to rake my bunker, and Benji, my caddie, was carrying both bags, so I told him, just put it down, I’ll get it so you can go and get a yardage. Just as simple as that.“
Q. What did they tell you on the 4th hole?
SERGIO GARCIA: “I’m not going to tell you.“
Q. You talked coming into the week about how frustrating this year has been overall. Is that just a culmination of everything, too? What’s the plan to try to —
SERGIO GARCIA: “No, it’s not a combination of everything. It’s fine. It’s what it is. You’ve just got to deal with it.“
Q. How much more difficult does it make it strategy-wise with you not being able to use a driver?
SERGIO GARCIA: “It makes it very easy. I just have to hit 3-wood all the time. I didn’t have to choose another club.“
Q. Your record here since you won is surprising to a lot of us. Is there a theme there or one reason for it? How do you explain that?
SERGIO GARCIA: “Bad golf.“
Q. Is there something specific here that has happened —
SERGIO GARCIA: “Bad shots.“
Q. But you can do that anywhere, but you win here and we would think you know how to play this golf course, so there must be more to it.
SERGIO GARCIA: “Well, if you don’t hit good shots, you’re not going to score well here. It’s very simple.“
Q. You’ve just coincidentally hit bad shots here, a lot since you’ve won. Is it as simple as that?
SERGIO GARCIA: “Yeah, unfortunately a lot of bad shots.“

Q. Did they give you a warning or something on the 4th —
SERGIO GARCIA: “Next question, please.“
Even without watching the video, Garcia’s disdain for the media shines through brightly.
Golf fans angry with Sergio Garcia after post-round Masters interview
Numerous golf fans flooded social media in reaction to Garcia’s post-round interview.
One fan fumed: “This should never happen if you are a true professional.“
One said: “Damn, this guy was celebrated for finally winning the major just a few years back. He’s older now, and as a LIV sellout, he should just understand that Augusta in April is just a victory lap these days. Hopefully he doesn’t get asked back,“ while another exclaimed: “Take away his membership! Never let him back!! What is he 16?? Grow up!!“
And the comments kept coming with fans stating, “Hope he didn’t lose his pacifier,“ and, “A grown man that has spent his career crying like a baby anytime he isn’t winning is really sad, feel bad for the guy he should be so happy and grateful. Tons of money, beautiful family but he acts like this. Sad.“
“Bar him from ever playing in the Masters for life,“ another fan suggested.
While one golf fan labelled Garcia as a ‘disgrace to the game’: “LIV can keep him forever!! Disgrace to the game.“
“That is the worst and most awkward, uncomfortable post-round interview I have ever seen. Ban him and don’t allow him to come back,“ one golf fan fumed.
While another said: “Honestly embarrassing. Worth tens of millions and plays golf for a living and acts like that. Kick him out.“
One golf fan questioned why Garcia wasn’t more humble: “How about ‘I’m sorry that was unacceptable behavior’?“
