Manchester City-owned Jack Harrison has taken to Instagram to revel in Leeds United clinching automatic promotion to the Premier League.
Harrison, on loan at Leeds from Premier League club City, is delighted to have played a role in the Whites winning promotion from the Championship.
West Bromwich Albion’s defeat to Huddersfield Town on Friday evening means that the Whites have secured their place in their top two without playing their final two matches.
Harrison, who can operate as a winger or as an attacking midfielder, is over the moon with the promotion for his loan club, and his former New York City teammate and ex-Spain international striker David Villa has responded to his post on Instagram.
Villa responded: “Congrats golden boy…”
Stats
According to WhoScored, Harrison has scored six goals and provided eight assists in 44 Championship matches for Leeds this season.
During the 2018-19 campaign, the 23-year-old scored four goals and provided three assists in 39 league games during his loan spell at the Whites, according to WhoScored.
Harrison has done well at Leeds during his loan spells, and it remains to be seen if he makes a permanent move to the Whites in the summer transfer window.
