Darren Ambrose has claimed Tottenham are going to sign ‘more’ players this summer and the possible transfer of Djed Spence is going to be ‘outstanding’, as he told talkSPORT.
The former Crystal Palace player, who is a boyhood Tottenham fan, claimed that Antonio Conte’s side are the ones who have more of a chance of closing the gap or overtaking the Premier League’s top-two.
For many years now, Liverpool and Manchester City have occupied those top two spots, with the latter winning four out of the last five Premier League titles and dominating English football.

Nothing drastic has changed, such as either team losing their manager, for people to think that course will change next season, but with Conte in north London, there are some now thinking differently.
Nonetheless, when talking about Tottenham’s summer window to come, Ambrose thinks the Champions League-bound side won’t stop yet, as he also offered his thoughts on Spence.
“They are going to sign more,” said Ambrose. “Djed Spence is the one that has been heavily linked. I think that would be an outstanding signing.
“I think Antonio Conte is the main reason (why Spurs can be the ones to challenge Liverpool and Manchester City). The front three or four now speaks for themselves.”

SPENCE TO MAKE IT SIX FOR TOTTENHAM?
This possible deal involving the Middlesbrough player just seems to be dragging on and on, but it does seem as though Spence wants the move and a deal is edging closer.
Unless someone comes in before then, if the Nottingham Forest promotion-winning star does sign on the dotted line for Spurs, then he will be signing number six for Conte.
That’s some serious backing the Italian has been provided with and those upstairs will be hoping it results in him signing a new contract with the club.
If that happens, then park the brilliant Yves Bissouma deal aside or the shrewd move to bring in Ivan Perisic because the best deal of the summer would be Conte extending his stay.
The only person that could possibly top him on that front is Harry Kane, who has two-years left to run on his contract at Tottenham.
