Following a 3-0 loss to Chelsea over the weekend, Harry Kane is still yet to find the back of the net in the Premier League this season.
It has been a woeful start to life under Nuno Espirito Santo for the England captain. Spurs overall have managed just three goals in the Premier League, with Kane failing to score a single one after the north London side’s latest defeat to Chelsea.
Indeed, the lack of goals has been a problem for Tottenham this season. Spurs currently have a goal difference of -3 following two 3-0 losses back-to-back in the Premier League.
And with north London rivals Arsenal coming up next, Spurs are heading into their biggest game of the season in less than ideal form, especially with Kane still not firing following the Chelsea game.
And a stat from OptaJoe has shown just how poor the England attacker has been in the league this season. After the 3-0 loss to Chelsea, Kane has managed just four shots on target this Premier League campaign.
With the attacker eager to leave Spurs in the summer for Manchester City, it isn’t impossible to rule out that the failed transfer to the Premier League champions is still weighing heavily on Kane’s mind.

And on social media, some Spurs fans believe Daniel Levy made a mistake not selling Kane this window based on his performance against Chelsea and his overall form this season.
Here’s what some Tottenham fans had to say about this surprising Kane stat on Twitter…
