Glenn Hoddle has suggested that he thinks reported Tottenham Hotspur target Christian Eriksen will move if he doesn’t get more football at Inter Milan, as per his comments on the Glenn Hoddle Footy Show.

Eriksen has endured a tough time at Inter since leaving Tottenham last January and already rumours have surfaced suggesting that he is keen on a move away.

Calcio Mercato even say that Tottenham could look at bringing the playmaker back to North London.

And Hoddle believes that there is a real chance that the Danish international does leave Inter, unless Antonio Conte shows more faith in him between now and the new year.

“People will say tough it out is the better way. It’s like Dele Alli at Tottenham,” Hoddle said.

“You want to in a perfect world, dig and make yourself play to your best form again and get back in the team.

“But that depends – that’s only 50% of the job done. The other 50% is does the manager really fancy you? Do you suit the tactic of the team?

“We will wait and see. It would be nice to think he could win his place in the Inter team and do a really good job for his club and himself, but if he’s not playing football he knows he’s at an age when he’s got to play football and he’s going to make a move, I think.”

If Eriksen was to move back to Tottenham he could increase the creative options available to Mourinho.

However, the £25 million man (FC Inter News) would likely have some work to do to win over Spurs supporters.

Eriksen was heavily criticised during his last season at the club, as his form went badly downhill.

And unless Eriksen could get back to his best quickly, he may not be welcomed with open arms by all at Spurs.
