Clinton Morrison has told BBC Sport that he fears both Tottenham Hotspur’s Heung-Min Son and Harry Kane could leave at the end of the season.
Spurs are currently languishing in ninth place in the Premier League table, with their hopes of playing Champions League football next term becoming more and more slim.
Tottenham are now nine points away from the top four, meaning that their best hope of getting back into Europe’s top competition may be through the Europa League.
And Morrison thinks that the pressure is on Tottenham to progress in Europe, otherwise he could see their two most integral players leaving.
“With that squad of players they should be doing better. If they finish ninth and win a cup I think they’ll keep Mourinho for next season. But for me it’s still a bad season. Considering the players they have it’s really disappointing,” he said.
“I think Tottenham have to concentrate on the Europa League. That’s a passage into the Champions League, because I can’t see them making the top four this season. If you’re not playing Champions League football, you’re going to lose players like Kane and Son.”

If Kane and Son were to leave Tottenham in one summer then it would be nothing short of disastrous.
Daniel Levy would surely be determined to stop that from happening though, and both players still have a fair amount of time remaining on their contracts.
The Athletic have reported that Tottenham actually want to tie down Son and Kane to longer-term deals, but whether either of the pair would commit their future at this current stage is doubtful.
