Peter Crouch has told BT Sport, during their live Champions League coverage, that he thinks Caoimhín Kelleher will be given more games for Liverpool this season.
Kelleher was drafted in to make his Champions League debut for Liverpool last night, and the youngster impressed.
The Reds stopper helped Jurgen Klopp’s side pick up a 1-0 win over Ajax, as he kept a clean-sheet in the biggest game of his career to date.
Kelleher now seems to have edged ahead of Adrian in the pecking order at Liverpool.
And Crouch expects the 22-year-old to be picked more often after he proved himself yesterday.
“Alisson has had his injury problems, hasn’t he? It was a big call to keep Adrian out today,” Crouch said.
“But for him to come in and play as assured as that, he’s going to get more games.”

Klopp said that Kelleher was picked last night as he possesses greater ability with the ball at his feet and that was needed against a high-pressing Ajax team.
Whether the youngster will still remain in Liverpool’s starting line-up at the weekend after his excellent display remains to be seen, though.
Liverpool take on Wolves, and with Alisson sidelined, it will be intriguing to see whether Klopp goes with the more experienced Adrian or sticks with Kelleher, who is surely full of confidence now.
