Some West Ham United fans on Twitter have been losing their minds over Said Benrahma’s performance against Leeds United in the Hammers’ 2-1 win.
The Algerian is yet to score his first league goal for his new club, but his performance against Leeds showed his new supporters exactly what he can do.
The winger was energetic and eager to get on the ball, and his six shots and three dribbles show that he was one of the most lively players on the pitch for the Hammers.
As you can imagine, West Ham fans went a little bit over the top in their praise of Benrahma, with one fan already claiming that he’s better than Neymar, otherwise known as the most expensive footballer in history, while another fan said that he may be the best player to ever walk the planet.
Of course, both of those opinions are a little over the top, but the fact that West Ham fans were able to even use such hyperbole shows how well he played against the Yorkshire outfit.
The scary thing is, this may just be the start for Benrahma, and he could still continue getting better and better.
