Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish is still said to be on Tottenham Hotspur’s radar.

Spurs are said to be lining up a January bid for the midfielder, who they targeted for much of the summer.
But if Mauricio Pochettino’s side do go after Grealish then it would rather feel like they have not heeded the warning signs from this season.
Grealish has been out of sorts for Villa this term, and buying him when he is not at the top of his game seems like a rather pointless exercise for Spurs.
Of course, there is an argument to suggest that Grealish’s below par performances come as a direct result of him not getting a move to Spurs.

But Tottenham surely must have their doubts over whether Grealish is the man to improve their squad, given his lack of impact in the Championship.
And going after him in January could go down as an error, when their funds may be better off being spent elsewhere.
