Former Leeds goalkeeper hopes promotion is around the corner.
Former Leeds United goalkeeper Nigel Martyn has sent a message to Leeds United fans wishing the club good luck for the season ahead.
Wednesday marked 21 years to the day that Martyn signed for Leeds, back in 1996, and he went on to remain at the club until 2003.

His form at Leeds saw him called up to represent England, and he played a key role in their thrilling Champions League run to the semi-finals in 2000.
Leeds fans did not miss that it was the anniversary of his signing with the club, and Martyn acknowledged the well wishes.
Now 50-years-old, Martyn says he hopes the club can finally get promoted back to the Premier League.
After making more than 200 appearances for the Whites, Martyn was eventually replaced by emerging goalkeeper Paul Robinson.
Everton signed him in 2003 and he spent three years at Goodison Park before retiring, and has kept a largely low profile since quitting the game 11 years ago.
