The Leeds United youngster is currently on loan at Accrington Stanley.

Leeds United forward Mallik Wilks has enjoyed a fine start to life at loan club Accrington Stanley, with his most notable contribution to date a 95th-minute equaliser on his debut against Notts County.
Things nearly got even better for the 18-year-old on Saturday, when he came off the bench against Carlisle United and came frustratingly close to making it two goals in just three (brief) appearances.

Accrington were already 3-0 up when Wilks was called on in an attempt to inflict some further late damage, and the Leeds teenager came agonisingly close, his effort thwarted by Carlisle goalkeeper Jack Bonham.
It is a mark of Wilks’ ability in front of goal that despite getting just 23 minutes to impress, he still sent an effort towards goal that, on another day, would have taken his tally to two strikes in just 57 minutes of League Two football.

The Leeds youngster is still awaiting his first start for his loan club but, given his impact thus far, that should not be far away.
It could even come today, with second-placed Accrington taking on Grimsby Town this evening, and even if Wilks is on the bench, expect him to do everything in his power to make his mark from there.
