It may have finished 0-0 between Leeds and Chelsea on Saturday, but it was one of the more entertaining goalless draws, and not just on the field.

BBC Sport have highlighted a fiery exchange between Chelsea boss, Thomas Tuchel and Leeds Sporting director, Victor Orta.

It is said that the Chelsea boss seemed ‘unsettled’ by Leeds’ ‘vocal’ director in the stands after the away team kicked the ball out after Patrick Bamford went down injured following his aerial duel with Antonio Rudiger.

Goal reporter Nizaar Kinsella, who covers Chelsea, stated that Tuchel shouted at the Leeds man ‘Would you do it for our player?’.

With the BBC and the Goal reporter both claiming that they were involved in a ‘heated debate’ and were both ‘arguing’.

This does bring back that infamous, or even famous, moment during Leeds’ clash with Aston Villa in 2019 – albeit, without the drama.

In one of the most remarkable games in Championship history, Leeds opted against putting the ball out whilst a Villa player was down injured.

Leeds then went on to score, which sparked ugly scenes, both on the pitch and on the touchline, with Anwar El Ghazi wrongly getting sent off for hitting out at Bamford – replays showed that wasn’t the case.

Given the class of Marcelo Bielsa, he allowed Villa to score an uncontested goal.

And whilst yesterday’s game didn’t hit those drama levels, it seemingly spark a few words off the field of play.
