Celtic supporters have greeted the return of Vasilis Barkas with mixed emotions

The return of Vasilis Barkas has been met with varying responses from Celtic fans.
The Greek keeper has made an unconvincing start to life in Glasgow following his £5m move in the summer, and has seen 22-year-old Conor Hazard take his place in recent weeks.
Hazard endeared himself to supporters with his two crucial penalty saves in the Scottish Cup Final shootout against Hearts, but his performance during the game itself was described as a “nightmare” on Premier Sports by Chris Sutton.

With the crucial New Year derby just three days away, Neil Lennon has returned the gloves to Barkas for the club’s final match of 2020.
With Dundee United the visitors this afternoon, Barkas will now have a chance to make a case for himself ahead of Saturday’s huge match.
Fans are desperate for the 26-year-old to prove himself today, but some have expressed reservations about Lennon’s decision.
Barkas and his Celtic team-mates kick off against Micky Mellon’s men at 3pm.
