Rangers goalkeeper Wes Foderingham has been talking up this weekend’s clash against Celtic – saying he wishes he could play against them more often.
Rangers have lost all three games against Celtic this season, two in the league and one in the cup.
The two teams meet this weekend in the Scottish Premier League, with Rangers attempting to end Celtic’s unbeaten record in domestic football this season.
Speaking to Rangers’ official website, Foderingham said: “I quite like them, this is the reason I have come here, to play in the big games.
“In a weird way you got out there and it ends so quickly and you can’t remember a lot of it.
“This is certainly the biggest game for us of the season and I always look forward to them, I wish I could play them more so I am looking forward to the game.”
Foderingham may have bad memories of matches against Celtic this season, but he was on the winning side a year ago in the Scottish Cup.
He was the hero as Rangers won a penalty shootout against Celtic a year ago at Hampden Park, and will have another chance later this season when the two teams meet at the same stage of the competition.
