Glenn Middleton left Norwich City in January to join Rangers.

Rangers teenager Glenn Middleton has told Rangers fans during a Q&A on the Gers’ academy Twitter page that it was a “no-brainer” to move to Ibrox in January.
Middleton, 18, has proven to be a key member of Billy Kirkwood’s Under-23 side since his move from Norwich City earlier this year, scoring and assisting plenty of goals from the Gers wing.
Last time out, the Scotland Under-19 international even assisted both Lewis Mayo and Zak Rudden for Rangers goals, as the Light Blues beat Copenhagen 2-1 on Thursday.

Middleton was asked if it was easy to move to Auchenhowie, and he replied by stating that he had no doubt in his mind in joining the team he “has always supported”.
“When you get the chance to play for the team you have always supported it is a no brainer,” Middleton said. “It was a straightforward move for me – there was no way I would be saying no to Rangers.”

The Northampton-born Scot is yet to break into Graeme Murty’s first team but has certainly caught the eye with a number of successful performances in the second string.
He has a contract until the summer of 2020 and he is sure to make his first-team bow before then, if he continues his current form under Kirkwood.
