Glenn Middleton has joined Hibernian on loan from Steven Gerrard’s Glasgow Rangers.
Glenn Middleton at Rangers
Middleton has joined Hibernian on loan from Rangers in the summer transfer window.
The 19-year-old winger joined the Gers in January 2018 after leaving Norwich City in England.
The Scotland Under-21 international is confident that he has a long-term future at Rangers and wants to make an impact at Ibrox after his loan spell at Hibernian.
Middleton told The Scottish Sun: “I want to be a better player and person than I was when I came in by the end of my 12 months here.
“Do I think I will make it at Rangers? Definitely. I am very driven and I know what I want to achieve. I want to keep taking steps every day and hopefully that will all add up.”

Long-term future
Middleton is a very talented and promising young winger who can be a star for Rangers in the coming years.
With competition for places fierce in the Rangers team, it made sense for the 19-year-old to move to Hibernian on a loan deal.
Playing regularly for Hibs in the Scottish Premiership will help Middleton develop his game and progress as a footballer, and he could then return to Rangers more prepared to establish himself in Steven Gerrard’s starting lineup.
