Glenn Hoddle has praised Aston Villa star Jack Grealish in The London Evening Standard, but he believes that Chelsea ace Mason Mount has an advantage over him.
Hoddle made the comments when asked who the most naturally-gifted English player is since Paul Gascoigne.
The former Chelsea and England international midfiedler mentioned Grealish among the players, but he added that fellow attacking midfielder Mount playing Champions League football gives him an advantage over the Villa ace.
Hoddle told The London Evening Standard: “We have a few I think. James Maddison, Jack Grealish . . . Phil Foden could be the one who goes ahead of them once he is playing more and more. It comes back to that experience of playing.
“I think there are goals in Foden as well. Grealish has got good talent, Maddison has as well. Mason Mount, what he is doing ahead of say Grealish is playing Champions League football.
“There is a massive stepping stone between the Premier League and international football, and that is the Champions League. People like Mount and Foden will be getting that experience.
“There are four players there who have got wonderful talent. Foden is a bit younger than the others and he might be the one in three of four years.”

Jack Grealish v Mason Mount debate
Both Grealish and Mount are part of the current England squad, and there has been a debate on who should play in the team.
There have been suggestions that the two attacking midfielders cannot co-exist in the same starting lineup and comparisons have been made between the duo, although both of them started together for England against Iceland and Belgium.
While Mount is playing in the Champions League for Chelsea, the England international is only 21 years of age. Grealish is 25 and is more experienced.
According to WhoScored, Grealish has scored four goals and provided five assists in eight Premier League matches for Villa so far this season.
As for Mount, the 21-year-old has scored one goal and provided one assist in eight league games and has played thrice in the Champions League for Frank Lampard’s Chelsea so far this campaign, according to WhoScored.
