Hoddle said on the BT Sport Score show on BT Sport 1 last Saturday afternoon (3:02pm, November 18, 2017) while discussing Dier’s performance: “He has had a hard week. He had two internationals as captain of England. For me, maybe it was a day to rest him and play somebody else.”
