Everton were beaten 1-0 by Watford at Vicarage Road yesterday.

Everton decided to take off both Gylfi Sigurdsson and Wayne Rooney at a point when they were 1-0 down.
The creative duo were replaced by Yannick Bolasie and Dominic Calvert-Lewin, as Everton searched for a route back into the match.
But Hoddle felt that Allardyce made a mistake, as he took away his side’s creativity.

“That is a strange one. You feel that when the game is getting stretched you want your creators and technicians on the pitch! That has surprised me, it really has,” Hoddle said.
In the end, Hoddle’s analysis proved correct, as Everton didn’t really threaten a comeback.
The Toffees struggled to break down Watford’s backline, as they slipped to another disappointing defeat.

Everton’s lacklustre display has put Allardyce under further pressure, with the Goodison Park crowd becoming frustrated with their lack of attacking invention.
Everton are now in ninth place in the Premier League table, with their next match coming against Burnley.
