Tottenham Hotspur have won just once in their last eight matches.
Glenn Hoddle has told Unibet that he believes Tottenham Hotspur’s build up play is too slow at this moment in time.
Spurs have not been at their best over recent weeks, with their win over West Ham United last weekend being their first in their last eight matches.
Tottenham had to come from behind to beat the Hammers 3-2, but their performance was disappointing for much of the match.

Spurs cannot afford to be short of their best this evening, when they take on Monaco, as they simply have to win.
Tottenham need to take maximum points from their next two matches to ensure that they have a chance of qualifying from their Champions League group.
And Hoddle feels that if Spurs are to beat the French side then they will need to speed up their build up play.
“At the moment Tottenham’s build up is that they play three or four passes square or backwards,” he said. “By that time Kane is isolated and has defenders really tight to him and screening him. The idea is to win it and play it forward quickly.”

Despite Hoddle’s criticism of Tottenham’s build up, Kane still has looked in good form since returning from injury.
The England international has netted three times in his first two matches since returning to Tottenham’s first-team, and will be in line to start against Monaco, providing he is deemed fit enough to play by the North London side’s medical staff.
